About Us

The Pavilions - Part of Uxbridge for over 50 years.
From open-air beginnings to a refreshed new look, here’s how The Pavilions has evolved over the years.
  • The Cedars opens

The centre opened in 1973 as The Cedars—an open-air space named after nearby Cedars Hall, with a mix of high street names and local favourites. It quickly became part of everyday life in Uxbridge.

  • A new name, a new space

By the end of the 1980s, the centre had been fully enclosed and relaunched as The Pavilions. With more shops, all-weather comfort and more reasons to visit, it marked the beginning of a new chapter.

  • The Mall Pavilions

In 2005, the centre became part of The Mall group and was renamed The Mall Pavilions, complete with updated branding and a new look.

In 2013, it returned to its original name – The Pavilions.

  • A new look, same heart

In 2025, The Pavilions unveiled a brighter, refreshed look. New stores, updated spaces and more to explore—still the local spot you know, just with a fresh glow.
